CABERNET SAUVIGNON
From every Margaret River vintage, there is a Cabernet Sauvignon by Vasse Felix, making the wine a living time capsule of place, season, technique and culture. The regional heritage and lineage are unrivalled. We nurture Margaret River’s original vines to form the TOM CULLITY. Specialised plantings in subsequent decades within the Home Vineyard, Wilyabrup, define the Premier Cabernet Sauvignon and overflow into the delectable fruit of Adams Road to make Filius.
Chardonnay
Exuding wild individuality, with restraint, the Vasse Felix Chardonnay collection is crafted in the house style; picked, chilled, pressed and fermented in French oak barriques as unclarified juice, with only wild yeast. The wines are differentiated only by site selection. New single plot expressions are being explored.
Syrah
Our winemakers have been on a mission to invigorate Margaret River Shiraz over the last decade with their ‘Syrah Project’. Through ongoing small-batch winemaking trials of wild yeast fermentation, carbonic-maceration and a reduction of oak, they unearthed wine of enticing vivacity, restraint and depth. Bright with pepper, spice and vibrant blue fruit; surprisingly cool climate and endlessly captivating, many would say, more ‘Syrah’ than ‘Shiraz.’
Sauvignon Blanc
Margaret River's favourite aromatic white. Sauvignon Blanc and blends are well-suited to the region's Mediterranean climate and strong maritime influence. A focus on wild fermentation has better captured a more delicious sense of place, highlighting the exciting complexities of the powerful, aromatic and savoury elements of low yielding, high quality Margaret River Sauvignon Blanc.
