2024 Filius Sauvignon Blanc Semillon

"This tier, as in Filius and the blend, is standing tall of late and it’s pleasing to see, or rather, taste. If anything, this is more elegant and restrained, a balance of citrus, white stone fruit and tropical fruit, a flutter of fresh herbs but texture and a fine acidity lead. The palate lingers, it’s a touch savoury and moreish. Good drinking here folks."

"Lemon pith and apple blossom aromas mix with complex notes of brioche and crushed rock. The palate is a savoury ride awash with zesty flavours and a subtle thread of minerality. There's texture too. This well priced blend has the x factor thanks to some clever use of oak that respects the anchoring core of fruit."
