This exclusive dinner brings two kitchens into conversation, with the wines of Vasse Felix at the heart of it.
For Pair'd Margaret River Region, this one-night-only collaboration on Saturday 21 November unites Bonheur's two Michelin-starred Chef Patron Matt Abé with Vasse Felix Head Chef Cam Jones and Chief Winemaker Virginia Willcock. Guided by the structure, complexity and elegance of the estate's most celebrated wines, the evening draws two distinct culinary perspectives together in a single, carefully considered menu.
Matt Abé earned two Michelin stars within months of opening Bonheur, his debut restaurant. Cam Jones, recognised as WA Good Food Guide Regional Chef of the Year, is celebrated for some of the state's most imaginative cooking. Together, they bring refined French technique and a produce-led instinct for Margaret River across a multi-course dining experience.
Respected wine journalist Erin Larkin will host the evening, guiding guests through each wine pairing and sharing the story of Vasse Felix, Margaret River's founding wine estate and the origin of the region's first Cabernet Sauvignon vines.
Exceptional Western Australian produce, two kitchens, one shared table. Wine and food in conversation, guided by a mutual commitment to precision, balance and craft.
A special thank you to our official automotive partner and Wine Dinners presenting partner, Lexus.

BONHEUR LONDON & MATT Abé
Bonheur: French, noun — [bɔ.nœʁ] A state of profound happiness, of perfect harmony between pleasure and purpose.
At Bonheur, we pursue the highest expression of hospitality: where artistry, precision, and warmth meet in perfect balance. Our name embodies our philosophy that true happiness is not fleeting, but cultivated through beauty, generosity, and a relentless pursuit of perfection.
Matt, originally from Sydney, began his culinary journey at just 16, training under celebrated chef Matt Moran at Aria Restaurant before moving to Melbourne’s renowned Vue de Monde.
In 2007, he relocated to London to work with Gordon Ramsay, starting as Chef de Partie and quickly rising to Sous Chef at Claridge’s. Matt joined the team at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay two years later, where he trained under Clare Smyth, honing the precision and discipline that define his cooking today.
Matt continued to rise through the ranks at Royal Hospital Road, becoming Chef de Cuisine in 2013 and Chef Patron in 2020. Under his leadership, the restaurant retained its three Michelin stars for eight consecutive years.
Beyond the kitchen, Matt has mentored the UK Bocuse d’Or team and serves as Chair of Judges for the National Chef of the Year.
Now, after 18 years under the mentorship of Gordon Ramsay, and a career spanning 24-years in fine dining, the opening of Bonheur by Matt Abé marks a deeply personal milestone.
