It’s a blend of cabernet with a small amount of malbec, an important variety at Vasse Felix. Smooth and seamlessly structured with a sublimely elegant expressive palate. It’s medium-bodied with a fine boned structure. Subtle use of oak and fine tannins adds support. The best yet.

The nose is deeply scented and perfumed with an underlying power, showing notes of blackcurrants, dried herbs, boysenberries, violets and mulberries. The palate is medium-bodied with finely integrated tannins, bright acidity and notes of wild blackberries, tobacco leaves and mocha. Very well constructed. 90% cabernet sauvignon and 10% malbec.
