1991 Cabernet Sauvignon

Cabernet Sauvignon was first planted in Margaret River at Vasse Felix in 1967, and the reputation of our wines was founded to a large degree on elegant, understated Bordeaux style blends. Only the finest parcels of fruit are selected for the Vasse Felix Cabernet and new oak plays a major part in the finesse of the wine.
Following on the heels of the 1990 Cabernet Sauvignon (Gold Medal Trophy at the Sheraton Wine Awards) the 1991 Cabernet Sauvignon promises more, from an excellent vintage in Margaret River.

Tasting Notes
Richly coloured and exhibiting strong blackcurrant cassis aromas supported by cedary French oak with hints of chocolate and leather. A mouth filling wine with soft tannins and complex flavours of blackcurrant, coffee and cedar oak on the finish.
